Restore front door with MDF tricoya, by Paul

Description

The old, but in good condition, front door restored. The style adapted to the classic facade of the house. This is done by applying three tricoya panels, complete with bossing.

Front door in classic style

The panels were custom ordered from TOSIZE.fi. Milled the boss with the cutter. Removed a rail and glued glazing beads from the old door. Removed all old layers of paint
Inserted two new styles of meranti. To this end, dominoes were milled into the existing door and the stiles slid over them.
Created a rebate with new profiled glazing beads. Panels applied and the bossing sanded nice and smooth. Profiled glazing beads glued on the inside.
Seams sealed.
The whole painted with Sikkens primer.
