We wanted a high custom-made shelving unit for our existing wall unit. We chose primed MDF and 3 cm thick planks so that it would fit nicely with the top of our existing wall unit. We wanted staggered compartments, so we did this very easily using the design tool of TOSIZE.fi.

How I made this project

We simply ordered the cabinet via the TOSIZE.fi website. It was delivered very neatly and well packaged by the supplier. We then easily assembled the cabinet together according to the instructions. Given our dimensions, it was easier to do it with two people. We then placed the cabinet on our existing furniture and sealed all edges and seams. We opted for primed MDF so the cabinet only had to be painted twice afterwards. We are very happy with our cabinet!
