In this DIY project, Marielle shares her experience in designing and assembling a beautiful custom TOSIZE furniture cabinet. She opted for a cabinet with two depths of MDF to be painted. It has become a beautiful eye-catcher.

Description of Marielle

At TOSIZE Furniture we have designed two large cabinets with different depths. The lower part with doors and the upper part without. We made these on top of each other and painted them in the color of the wall, peignoir from Farrow and Ball. The cabinet is 4 meters wide and 1.77 high in total. So we have a wall-wide show cupboard where we can also hide our junk 😉. There are small shelves in the cupboards. Handy for vases and other items.

How I made this project

We were inspired by the other projects on the site to create a design. When the shelves arrived we were shocked by the large quantity. It was a bit of a job, but fortunately the description was clear and everything fit perfectly. All planks are numbered so it is very clear what to do. We used raw MDF planks. After assembling we painted the cabinet ourselves.
